Birch Lane Stables
Birch Lane Stables (BLS) is family owned and operated; located in Belle Plaine, MN.  BLS takes pride in serving customers with quality care at an affordable price.  If you choose to board your horse at BLS you will never have to worry about the kind of care your horse is receiving.  
 
Currently BLS consists of 33 indoor box stalls that are cleaned daily.  Each stall has private hay and grain feeders as well as a private water bucket that gets cleaned and filled often.  Currently BLS has a 60' x 170' indoor arena.  BLS also has a 120' x 240' outdoor area.  All arenas have high quality sand with a clay base.  Additionaly, BLS offers 3 seperate tack rooms, 2 of which are for boarders only.  BLS also offers a large wash rack with hot and cold water, a lounge area, private changing room and restroom.

 Pat and Cheryl Morrison
Pat and Cheryl have been married for 40 years.  They have 4 daughters and 10 grandchildren.  Their second oldest daughter, Tammy, and their son-in-law, David 'Roper' Gallentine, embarked on this journey together starting in 2001.
 
Over their 40 years of marriage they have raised and shown Clydesdales for most of them.  They showed several six and eight horses hitches in many parades and draft horse shows in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Kansas, Florida and Canada.  Their draft horse operation was a family operation that everyone enjoyed and did very well at.  In 1996 it lead Pat to be a driver for the famous "Budweiser Clydesdales."  Not only was Pat a great driver, but he was great at cleaning, caring and maintaining beautiful horses and a meticulous facility.  
 
After 4 years and thousands of miles working for Budweiser; Pat and Cheryl moved back to Minnesota to be with their family and start their dream of owning/operating a top of the line boarding and training facility.  Rocking N Training Center, Kyle and Amanda Noyce, joined the operation in August of 2007.  This joint union has helped this dream become a reality.   
 Roper and Tammy Gallentine

Roper and Tammy have been married for 17 years.  They have three children:  Ryan (18), Samantha (15) and Kasey (14).  

 

Roper and Tammy both grew up with horses and showing draft horses.  They traveled around the US, while Roper worked for Budweiser.  In 2001 Roper and Tammy, along with Pat and Cheryl, decided to start a boarding facility.  As their business grew they encouraged Rocking N Training Center, Kyle and Amanda Noyce, to join forces with them.  In 2007, Rocking N Training Center moved their business out to Birch Lane Stables.

 

Throughout their years in the horse industry, Roper & Tammy and Pat & Cheryl have been breeding quality Quarter Horses.  Their horses consist of offspring of TR Dual Rey and Chic Please, Highlight Cat, Boonalittle 

 

Ryan now 18 has been riding since he was 3yrs. old, is now assisting Kyle and doing a great job also. He is a good horseman watch for him at the shows!!!
